Located 4 miles north of Lochinver on an award-winning white sandy beach (click here for directions), Achmelvich is the perfect location for sea-kayaking, hillwalking, rockclimbing and just chilling out. Nearby hills are Suilven, Canisp and Quinag, while Foinaven is also an option further north, as are the hills of the Coigach peninsula further south. For rock climbers, the classic sea stack of the Old Man of Stoer, Stac Pollaidh and the sea cliffs of Reiff are obvious attractions.
